12. PRIVACY IN CONSULTATION SESSIONS
All sessions are strictly confidential. All information discussed is not shared with anyone. It is not recorded unless agreed to prior to session by yourself for the purpose of training or case documentation only.


Important note: If you are at risk of harm by others or from self-harm, in these cases (‘I”, “we,”) are legally required to make sure you are safe by involving another agreed professional service. This is part of Mandatory Reporting in Australia. This is to ensure you are provided with necessary support and that you are referred to professional services. Before any official reporting is done, we will discuss this with you first in the session to provide you with the best care possible moving forward.

13. NOTES KEPT FROM SESSIONS
All information in Consultation sessions: (if minimal notes are indeed taken) will not be shared with anyone. Any notes taken are purely for planning, tracking and or adaptation of your agreed goals for the sake of providing on-going care or due to agreed recording for training and case documentation. If these notes are requested by law, in the case of a subpoena, then this will be discussed with you prior to release. All notes are kept in a secure file only accessible by your consultant.

14. CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING OF BOOKINGS
All consultation services that are purchased and booked through thepeacefulnoggin.com will require 24 hour notification of cancellation. If this notice is provided, you may receive a full refund or choose to apply the payment to a future session.

 

Late Cancellations: For cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost will apply. The remaining 50% may be refunded or applied to future services.


No-Show Policy: If you fail to attend a scheduled session without providing prior notice, the full session fee will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

15. RESCHEDULING
Clients may reschedule a session without penalty if notice is given at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. Sessions can be rescheduled via email: info@thepeacefulnoggin.com

16. COMPLAINTS OR COMPLIMENTS
We welcome all feedback, suggestions and or comments. Please keep them kind, that is all we ask.

 

If you have a compliment we will invite you to review our services for display on our website and or social media profiles. We appreciate the time to write your compliments and we value it. We will always seek permission from you to spread your kind words on any platforms or reviews.

17. TRADE AND REFUND POLICY: SERVICE PAYMENTS AND BOOKING POLICY
Open Hours for Booked Consultations.
The Peaceful Noggin is open for consultation bookings Sunday - Thursday 9 AM - 5 PM and Friday 9 AM - 2 PM, for all private or group consultations / sessions booked through our website.

18. TRADE AND PROCESSING OF PAYMENTS FOR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES
IMPORTANT: All payments (money) processing of any purchases made outside of these above trading days, will be processed on the closest available opening day from your time of purchase.

PAYMENTS: We accept all cards on our website.
All payments for services and products must be made in full at the time of booking. This applies to one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and other digital services or products unless prior arrangement has been made in writing and signed by Michelle Donovan CEO & Founder of thepeacefulnoggin.com. Afterpay is available as a payment installment option in our cart.

Secure Payments: Payments are processed securely through Stripe, ensuring the highest level of security for your transactions.


SERVICE PACKAGES: For packages and bundles, full payment is required. Package discounts may apply, and the sessions must be used within the specified period from the date of purchase.


19. REFUND POLICY
Refund Eligibility: Refunds are available under the following conditions:

Non-Satisfaction: If you are dissatisfied with your first session, you may request a full refund, provided you notify us within 24 hours after the session.


Money Back Guarantee Refunds: for dissatisfaction on subsequent sessions this will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
 

Technical Issues: If a session cannot be completed due to technical difficulties (e.g., internet connection failure), clients may reschedule the session at no additional cost or request a refund for that specific session.


REFUND EXCLUSIONS:
Refunds are not available for services already rendered (i.e., courses purchased, shop products and or group workshops). Unless there is proof of damage on arrival of the shop product.


Any promotional or discounted session packages may have specific terms for refund eligibility, as outlined during the offer, or cancellations policies above

20. SERVICE DELIVERY AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
Session Preparation: Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and access to the required technology to participate in sessions (e.g., computer or phone to attend the zoom session). They also must be insecure they are in a quiet and private location for their own comfort, privacy and confidentiality.


Service Limitations:
Please be aware that our services are consulting and wellness-oriented, and not a substitute for licensed medical treatment or therapy. Refunds will not be granted if the client seeks services outside our scope of expertise. Although trained in mental health and counselling we are not licensed and will be only guiding you in a “life coaching” capacity.

21. CHANGES TO POLICY
Policy Updates: We reserve the right to modify this Trade and Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated on our website. Clients who have purchased services before any changes will still be governed by the terms at the time of their purchase.
